Samuel Scott Adkins

Samuel "Sam" Adkins passed away on February 15, 2023. He was born on January 30, 1997, to Rick Adkins and Tina Higgins. Sam loved skateboarding, painting, and drawing. He was always trying to help people, and he enjoyed learning new things. Sam was a wonderful son, brother, uncle, grandson, and friend who will be so dearly missed.

Sam is preceded in death by his grandfather, Ray Griffin; his grandmother, Ella Adkins; his stepmother, Jennifer Adkins; and his sister, Cheyenne Petry. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Tina (Marshall) Higgins; his father, Rick Adkins; his grandparents, Albert and Linda Potter; his grandmother, Francis Griffin; his grandfather, Donald Adkins; his siblings, Chelsea Morgan, Drew Bolton, Levi Adkins, Justin Higgins, Elana Adkins, Jacob Higgins, and Ella Adkins; his aunt, Barbara Long; nephew, J. Adkins; cousins, Bobbie Jean Fritchman, Jesse Bush, Ansley Lawrence, Jonathan Fritchman, and James Potter; and many other family & friends who loved Sam.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Sunday, February 26, 2023, from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm. A memorial service for Sam will begin at 2:00 pm at Clark Funeral Home Chapel.
