Samuel Power

Samuel “Sam” Power, age 68, of Hiram, GA, passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at his residence. He was born on June 20, 1949 in Austell, GA, and was preceded in death by his father, Samuel Alexander Power, son, Sam Dylan Power, grandchild, Phenix Michael Blake Power, sister, Andrea Brooks and step father, Andrew House. Mr. Power was veteran of the United States Army and a graduate of Chico State University in California and an educator for over twenty years.

Survivors include his mother, Ella “Jane” House, sons, Waylon (Katrina Williams) Power of Mableton, GA, Michael (Crystal) Power of Villa Rica, GA; brothers, James House, Daryl Power, Ronnie (Carlanne) Power, all of Hiram, GA; sisters, Colleen (Wayne) Brown of Hiram, GA, Gloria Kay Griffin, of Dallas, GA, Annette (Ted) Grauch of Atlanta, GA; six grandchildren and former wife, Karen Cason Power.

Memorial Services will be Wednesday, May 23, 2018 from the chapel of Clark Funeral Home at 5 PM. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, May 23, 2018 from 4 PM until service time.

In lieu of flowers, donation can be made to Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital.
