Sandy Michele Bivins, passed away Friday, January 12, 2024, at the age of 49. Sandy was born on Sunday, July 7, 1974 in Villa Rica, Georgia. A devoted mother, daughter, and sister, Sandy's presence touched the lives of all who knew her.
Sandy was a force to be reckoned with - a true spitfire who approached life with immense passion and enthusiasm. Her love for her children, Lakin Stephens and Austin Bivins, knew no bounds. Her children were the light of her existence, and her love for them radiated with every beat of her heart.
Sandy was a true movie aficionado, and few things brought her as much joy as immersing herself in the world of films. She had a particular fondness for movies like Twilight and Transformers, and could get lost for hours in their captivating stories.
From running the concession stand at the endless football games to screaming in the stands at cheer competitions, Sandy was always fully involved in her children's lives. She loved to enjoy life by jamming out to loud music in the car, eating good food, and spending time with her family. She lit up every room with her beautiful smile and unmistakable laugh. She was always up for a random Walmart run and could consume endless caramel frappuccinos. Animals held a special place in Sandy's heart, and her compassion extended beyond humans. Regardless the size of the dog, she'd allow it to sit in her lap.
Music held a special place in Sandy's heart, and she was a self-taught piano player. She often graced the halls of her church with her mesmerizing voice and skillful piano playing, bringing joy and inspiration to all who gathered to worship. Sandy also enjoyed shopping and her zest for life was contagious.
