Sara Florence Jones

Sara Florence Jones, age 96, of Kennesaw, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2008. She was born on August 13, 1911, in Cobb County, and was preceded in death by her parents, Maurice Brooks & Agnes Watson Brooks and her husband, Lynn P. Jones. She worked for the Chrysler Corporation and Kennestone Hospital, and also did volunteer work at Kennestone Hospital. Mrs. Jones was a member of Kennesaw United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Ollie Jones of Jacksonville, FL; four grandchildren; and several cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2008, at 3:00pm, from Clark Funeral Home, with Minister Wallace Wheeles officiating.
Interment will follow in Midway Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Joe Bozeman, Dolph Nelson, Gene Croft, Mickey Bozeman, Steve Shelton, and Fred Moore will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00pm until 7:00pm.
