Scarlett Wright Cure

Scarlett Wright Cure, age 78, of Hiram, Georgia, passed away Saturday, November 18, 2023. She was born on April 19, 1945 in Bremen, Georgia, the daughter of the late James Arnold Wright and the late Lucile Brown Wright Holcomb. Scarlett retired from AT&T following many years in management.  Her passion and her life's work was being a beautician. 

Scarlett was a devoted and loving wife.  She was the most giving and kind person.  She loved all genres of music and loved to sing.

Scarlett will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. 

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Timothy McClarty.  

Scarlett is survived by her loving husband of twenty-two years, David Mark Cure; her daughter, Tammy Bracknell; siblings: Jerrell Wright, Joyce Long and Kathy Odom; grandchildren: Michael, Jake, Jeffrey, Scott, Matthew, Taylor, Brianna and Rachel; thirteen great grandchildren and one on the way; several nieces and nephews.

The family is honoring Scarlett's wishes to be cremated and the family will celebrate her life privately.
