S.D. Graham

S.D. Graham, age 92, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2017. He was born on February 18, 1925, in Dallas, GA, to the late Stanley David & Donzie Graham, SR, and was preceded in death by his wife, Ludie Vee Graham, and daughter, Brenda Faye Graham. S.D. was a United States Army Veteran where he served under General George Patton in the 381 st Army Combat Engineers in World War II, and in the Battle of the Bulge, gaining 3 Battle Stars. Mr. Graham was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, was the owner of Graham Lumber Company in Douglasville for many years, and was a saw miller and farmer.

Survivors include his daughters, Ann & Bill Scoggins of Dallas, GA, Nancy & Bobby Parrott of Dallas, GA, and Lynn and Tim Bell of Dallas, GA; brothers, Ray Graham of Dallas, GA, and Billy Graham of Dallas, GA; sister-in-laws, Jeanette Graham of Dallas, GA, and Evelyn Womack of Dallas, GA; grandchildren, Lisa Scoggins, Aaron & Krisenda Parrott, Heather & Andy Hill, John & Samantha Scoggins, Holly Levee, Jennifer & Michael Bruner and Josh & Heather Bell; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2017, at 3 PM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Reverend Don Voyles officiating. Interment will follow in New Hope Cemetery. John Scoggins, Aaron Parrott, Josh Bell, Michael Bruner, Andy Hill and Tristan Hill will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 21, 2017, from 4 PM until 8 PM.
