Shane Harris

Shane Harris, age 30, of Powder Springs, GA (Paulding County), passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2012. The son of Doug Hughes & Sherry Harris Hughes, he was born December 3, 1981, in Atlanta, GA. Shane was a graduate of Villa Rica High School Class of 2000. He was a member of Mars Hill Baptist Church in Carrollton and attended Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Hiram.
Survivors include his father, Doug Hughes of Austell, GA; mother, Sherry Harris Hughes of Douglasville, GA; sisters & brother-in-law, Courtney Drewel & husband, Zachary of Palm Bay, FL and Renee Hughes of Douglasville, GA; grandparents, Patricia Harris Demeritt of Powder Springs, GA and Linville Douglas Hughes, Sr. & wife, Dolores of Emlenton, PA; niece, Savannah Rae Drewel; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be Friday, March 9, 2012, at 11:00 AM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Pastor Rodney Carson, Sean Rogers, Kinard Armstrong and John Grier officiating. Interment will follow in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, March 8, 2012, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
