In Loving Memory of Shannon Nichole Whatley

Shannon Nichole Whatley, a beloved wife, aunt, sister, and friend, gently passed away on November 8, 2023, in Hiram, GA at the age of 39. Born on December 15, 1983, Shannon brought warmth and joy to the lives she touched during her time on this earth.

Shannon was an individual with a heart of gold, always radiating kindness and compassion to everyone she encountered. Her generosity knew no bounds, as she selflessly extended a helping hand to those in need. She was an unwavering pillar of support for her loved ones and would do whatever it took to ensure their happiness and well-being.

Throughout her life, Shannon displayed an admirable work ethic, approaching every task with diligence and dedication. Whether at home or in her profession, her consistent commitment to excellence earned her the respect and admiration of her colleagues and friends. Her loyalty was unwavering, never wavering in her devotion to those she cared about.

Shannon's passing leaves an unfillable void in the hearts of her surviving relatives, especially her loving husband Ajamu Whatley. Together, they shared a bond built on deep love and understanding, making memories that will forever be cherished. Shannon's memory will also be treasured by her extended family, friends, and all those who were fortunate enough to have known her.

In the coming days, friends and family will gather to celebrate Shannon's remarkable life and bid their final farewells. Funeral services and ceremonies will be announced in the near future, providing an opportunity for all to come together to honor and remember the beautiful soul that was Shannon Nichole Whatley.

Though Shannon may no longer be physically present, her spirit will continue to shine brightly within the hearts of those she loved. Her legacy of kindness, hard work, and loyalty shall serve as a lasting inspiration to us all.

Shannon is preceded in death by her parents; Sharon Morgan Foster and Ronald Chad Morgan.

Shannon is lovingly survived by her husband, Ajamu Whatley, her sister, Wendy Vanzant, brother, Chad Ronald Morgan, nieces; Kennedy Benntt, Katlyen Henry, nephews; Kaiden Vanzant, Tayler Watson, stepdad, Donnie Foster, mother-in-law, Gloria W. Johnson and by Xaiver Whatley.

A visitation for Shannon will be Saturday, November 18, 2023 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Clark Funeral Home & Chapel.
