Sharon Marie Martino – Saltzman, age 64, of Powder Springs, GA, passed away on Monday, August 12, 2019. She was born on October 10, 1954 in Colorado Springs, CO to Colonel (Ret.) A. James Martino and Prudence Marie Martino of Jonesboro, GA. Mrs. Saltzman was a retired administrative assistant for the Department of Labor and was a faithful member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Lithia Springs, GA. She is preceded in death by her brother, Mark Martino.
Survivors include her beloved husband, Dr. David Saltzman of Powder Springs, GA, parents; Colonel (Ret.) A. James Martino and Prudence Marie Martino of Jonesboro, GA, siblings; Jim and Carol Martino of Stockbridge, GA, Dennis and Deborah Martino of Fayetteville, GA, Cheryl Mankoski of Stockbridge, GA, Tina Rodgers of Douglasville, GA, Dotti and Rick Shepherd of Jonesboro, GA, LT. Colonel (Ret.) Chuck and Sandra Martino of Colonial Heights , VA. and numerous nieces and nephews who all think they are the favorite.
A Memorial Service for Mrs. Saltzman will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church at 1:00 PM with Fr. Vincent Gluc, OFM CONV. Officiating. A reception will be held immediately after the service at the Knights of Columbus Hall at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully asks that memorial donations be made to AID Atlanta.
