Shelby Maxwell

Shelby Jean Maxwell, age 75, of Dallas, GA, passed away Thursday, January 24, 2013. The daughter of the late, John & Ester Hill, she was born July 27, 1937, in South Carolina. Mrs. Maxwell worked for the Cobb County School System for 29 years at Harmony Leland Elementary in food services. She was a member of Mt. Harmony Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, B. Q. Maxwell; son, John Quinton Maxwell of Dallas, GA; daughter, Shelby Loraine Roberts of Powder Springs, GA; brother, Jerry Hill of South Carolina; grandchildren, Brandi Jenkins, Jessica Eves, Nicholas Knight, Megan Roberts and Adam Maxwell; great-grandchildren, Kahla Johnston, Alyssa Rivera, Mariah Knight, Brandon Eves, Beyla Eves, Gavyn Carpenter, Eli Carpenter, Khloe Bohannon and Aden Maxwell; and great-great-grandchild, Paisley Johnston.
Funeral services will be Saturday, January 26, 2013, at 3:00 PM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Reverend R. C. Watson officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, January 25, 2013, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
