Sheri L. Coley

Sheri L. Coley, age 51, of Powder Springs, GA. passed away on Monday, March 8, 2021 at her home. She was born on January 1, 1970 to her parents, Johnny and Shirley Douglas. She was a member of Faith Baptist Temple and a majority member of The International Order of Rainbow for Girls. Mrs. Coley is preceded in death by her father, Johnny Douglas.

She is survived by her loving husband, Joe Dunaway; her mother, Shirley Douglas; daughter, Hope (Christopher) Bell of Dallas; brother, Timmy Echols; grandchildren, Lucas Bell and Mason Bell; along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mrs. Coley will be Friday, March 12, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Clark Funeral Home with Pastor Phillip Crawford and Pastor Ronnie Tibbitts officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 until the time of service.

If attending the visitation or service, the staff of Clark Funeral Home highly recommends that a face mask be worn, and that social distancing is practiced to help prevent the spreading of any possible illnesses and to help keep visitors, friends and family members of Mrs. Coley safe.  The family would like to extend their love and appreciation to everyone who may be unable to attend the service in person due to the states Covid-19 restrictions (no more than 50 people inside the funeral home at one time).

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the International Order of Rainbow for Girls.
