Shirley Jean Blanchard

Shirley Jean Blanchard, age 75, of Dallas, GA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 21, 2019 at her home. She was born on June 16, 1943 in Villa Rica, GA, to the late Lester Golden and Vera Seals. She was retired from Douglasville Nursing and Rehab, where she worked as a Certified Nurse Assistant. Mrs. Blanchard worked as a CNA for over twenty years and served those in need with a heart of gold. In her spare time, she loved to go hunting and being outdoors, gardening. Mrs. Blanchard attended Crossroads Full Gospel Church. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Billy Huddleston. Shirley was loved dearly by her family and friends.

Survivors include her beloved husband, Ralph Blanchard of Dallas, GA, son, David (Christie) Cole of Dallas, GA, daughter, Cindy (Tim) Evans of Douglasville, GA, brother, L.C. Golden of Temple, GA, grandchildren; Lindsey McCullough, Christian Cole, Caley Cole, and Tyler Cole, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Shirley Jean Blanchard will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2019 from the Clark Funeral Home Chapel at 3:00 PM with Rev. Tim Landmon officiating. Interment will follow the service at Paulding Memorial Gardens Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers; Waymon Landmon, Scott Grantham, Logan Cline, Dylan Loftin, Chad Thomas, and Eric Mitchell. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, April 25, 2019 from 12:00 PM until the service begins at 3:00 PM.
