Shirley Jo Cochran, age 80, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 16, 1939 in Dallas, GA, to her late parents; Rev. Roscoe William Davis and Inez Bagwell Davis. Mrs. Cochran worked as a para pro for Paulding County Board of Education for 15 years and was a faithful member of Refuge of Love, where she was involved in Sunday School and spreading the gospel through her wonderful singing, which she loved so much. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Bobby Davis, and sister, Frances Davis.
Survivors include her beloved husband of 60 years, Billy Wade of Dallas, GA, sons; Kendall (Mandy) Cochran of Dallas, GA, Dr. Darin (Donna) Cochran of Dallas, GA, brother, Charles W. (Jessie) Davis of Rockmart, GA, grandchildren; Darianne Craig and future grandson- in -law, Dylan Hill, Preston Cochran, Isaiah Cochran, Dellani Cochran, Dannica Cochran, and great grandchild, Luca Hill.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Cochran will be held on Sunday, October 13, 2019 at 3:00 PM from the Clark Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wayne Welch, and Dr. Jether Cochran officiating. Interment will follow the service at Dallas Memory Gardens Cemetery with Dr. Scott Shepherd officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be the following gentlemen; Isaiah Cochran, Preston Cochran, Billy Guy, Tim Davis, Jason Garrett and Robbie Carlton. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, October 12, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Sunday, October 13, 2019 from 1:00 PM until the service begins at 3:00 PM.
