Biography
Shirley Ann King Fears, age 76, of Dallas, GA passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2009. She was born on October 17, 1933 in Sebring, FL to the late Perry Alfred and Emma Gladys King. She was a retired secretary in the medical industry and was a member of Norton Park Baptist Church in Smyrna. Mrs. Fears loved her family and craft shows. She played Bridge and was very active at the Dallas Senior Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard H. “Pat” Fears.
Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Butch & Jan Fears of Carrollton, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Suzanne & Bobby Smith of Gainesville, GA, Lori & Troy Presley of Lithia Springs, GA and Patti & Mark Jones of Clarksville, GA; a brother and sister-in-law, Gerald & Shelia King of Bellingham, Washington; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 26, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. from Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA with Pastor Joe Gaines and Pastor Hank Melton officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until the service time. The body was cremated. Clark Funeral Home, Hiram, GA, is in charge of arrangements.
