Shirley "Jeanette" Fields

Shirley “Jeanette” Fields, age 80, passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 peacefully at her home. Mrs. Fields was born on October 20, 1940 to her late parents, Andy and Gertrude Thomason. Jeanette was known by her family as a caretaker and a mother figure, it was very important to her to take care of her family. God was very important to her in her life. Family was first to her. Mrs. Fields was a member of New Life Baptist Church in Dallas, Ga and worked at the Dallas Hosery Mill for more than 15 years. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Joseph R. Fields; sisters, Frances Hollis; brothers, Billy Thomason, Johnny Thomason, and Jerry Thomason; granddaughter, Lesley Coppola; son in-law, Mike Spradling.

Mrs. Fields is survived by her daughters, Kathy Cochran and Joy Spradling; sister, Arlene (Raymond) Townsend; grandchild, Joseph Spradling; great-grandchildren, Lilly and Maddie.

Graveside services for Mrs. Jeanette Fields will be held at Peaceful Meadows on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 2:00 PM with Mike and Denise Jackson speaking.
