Shirley Diane Hardy, age 67, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2016. She was born on September 3, 1948, in Douglasville, GA, to the late Wilbur & Mattie Morris, and was preceded in death by her brother, Paul Morris. Mrs. Hardy was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Joel Hardy of Dallas, GA; sons, Keith & Jaci Hardy of Dallas, GA, and Chris & Stephanie Hardy of Euharlee, GA; brother, Troy &Jackie Morris of Powder Springs, GA; sister, Ann Vaughn of Powder Springs, GA; grandchildren, Ashley & Brandon Bryant, Nick Hardy, Brett & Katie Hardy, Emily Hardy and Mackenzie Hardy; great-grandchildren, Ella Bryant and Braxton Bryant; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2016, at 11 AM, from Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, with Reverend David Owen and Reverend Lee Lawrence officiating. Interment will follow in Morris Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, April 29, 2016, from 5 PM until 8 PM.
