Shirley Mae (Walker) Turner

Shirley Mae Walker-Turner passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2022. She was born on May 14, 1936, the daughter of the late Jess and Hattie Blackmon Walker in Draketown, GA. She was retired from the secretarial field. Shirley enjoyed painting beautiful landscapes and loved yard work. She was an extremely humble, loving, and caring person. Shirley was a devout Christian and loved her church and God with all her heart.

Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, Jess and Hattie Blackmon Walker; Her loving husband, James Junior Turner of 40 years, and her infant daughter, Jenny Leigh Walraven. She is survived by her stepdaughter, Melissa Turner Cantrell; Her grandson, Daniel Cantrell; her great-grandson, Nolan Cantrell; Her nephew, Joe Turner, and her niece, Shirley Turner.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service for Shirley will be held at Clark Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, AT 1:00 PM with Reverend Travis Warren officiating. Interment will follow at Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
