Shirley (Browning) Miller

Shirley Miller passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2023. She was born on March 9, 1935, the daughter of the late Ben and Vera Browning. She worked at seamstress for over 50 years at Hubbard Clothing Company. Shirley was very dedicated to her family. Shirley had a passion for yard work and a love for helping to keep Smyrna Methodist Cemetery at its best.

In addition to her parents, Shirley is preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Miller; a son-in-law, Rene Butler; a grandson, Chad Butler and a sister, Hazel Spake. She is survived by three daughters, Sheila Butler, Gail Hollis Hayes (Bobby), and Vickie Williams (Randy); one sister, Merle Dewberry; three grandchildren, Jennifer Popp (Bill), Joshua Williams (Starla), Matt Williams (Amanda); six great-grandchildren, Bryce Williams (Emma), Wyatt Williams, Aniston Williams, Noah Popp, Finley Williams, Eisley Williams and a large number of extended family members and friends.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Sunday, February 12, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Funeral Service for Shirley will be held at Clark Funeral Home on Sunday, February 12, 2023, at 3:00 PM, with Pastor Steve Griggers officiating. Interment will follow at Smyrna United Methodist Church Cemetery, 9199 Buchanan Hwy, Dallas, GA, with Joshua Williams, Wyatt Williams, Matt Williams, Bryce Williams, Bill Popp, and Bryan Ragsdale serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Kenneth Thompson, Brian Smith, Jimmy Hannah, James Spake, Noah Popp, Randy Williams, and Jerry Cole.
