Stacey Vonnelle (Vansickle) Baird

Stacey Vonnelle Vansickle Baird passed away on May 25, 2023. She was born on August 24, 1938, to Forest King "Dick" and Georgie (Alexander) Vansickle in Henderson, Texas. Stacey was an incredibly hard worker. She worked and retired from the Federal Government. Stacey loved crocheting, genealogy, and quilting and her most pleasurable was crocheting for a group called Threads of Love; they crochet for preemie babies that passed away. She graduated from Carlisle School. Stacey was known for her kind heart and giving spirit. When she wasn't working, she loved spending time with her family. She was and will always be very loved and deeply missed.

Stacey is preceded in death by her father, Dick Vansickle; mother, Georgie Alexander Vansickle, both of Carlisle, Texas; and son, Glenn Edward Boucher, of Dallas, Texas. She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Boucher Tibbitts, and her husband, Trent of Dallas, Georgia; sister, Bennie Vansickle Keckeiser, of Henderson, Texas; husband Paul Sterling Baird, of Fate, Texas.

Visitation will be held at Clark Funeral Home on May 28, 2023, at 2:00 p.m., with a memorial service at 3:00 p.m. in the Clark Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Todd Tibbitts officiating. Stacey will be returning to Texas for a graveside visitation and memorial, which will be held at Duncan Cemetery, Good Springs, Texas, on June 2, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. with Mike Ledbetter officiating.
