Steve Marshall

Steve Marshall, age 64, of Hiram, passed away on Sunday, May 06, 2012. He was born on May 21, 1947, in Forrest City, N.C., to the late D.P. & Addie Marshall. Mr. Marshall was a Vietnam Veteran of the United States Navy, employed as a contractor for 30 years, and was a member of First Baptist Church of Powder Springs.

Survivors include wife, Beverly Marshall of Hiram; son, Forrest Marshall of Asheville, NC; stepson, Rob & Colette Moore of Mooresville, NC; stepdaughter, Wendi & David Gary of Marietta, GA; sister, Nancy Littlejohn of Gaffney, SC.; grandchildren, Lauren, Taylor, and Ryan Moore of Mooresville, NC; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at 11 a.m., from First Baptist Church of Powder Springs, with Reverend Mike Woods officiating. Mr. Marshall will lie in state at the church from 10 a.m. until the service time. Interment will follow in Cheatham Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 8, 2012, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.
