Steven Lee Lauer

Steven Lee Lauer, age 57, of Hiram, GA, passed away on Monday, October 1, 2018. He was born on December 22, 1960, in Kansas, to the late Robert John & Kimiko Lauer, and was preceded in death by his wife, Melva Maggie Pearl Lauer. Mr. Lauer was a United States Army Veteran, and retired from Yancey Brothers where he worked as a Manager of the Parts Department.

Survivors include his sons, James Vaughn of Michigan, Christopher Vaughn of Hiram, GA; daughters, Amber Cross of Mableton, GA, Kimber & John Bruce of Hiram, GA, and Amy Lauer of Mableton, GA; brothers, Russell & Kristine Lauer of Arlington, TX, John & Cheryl Lauer of Magnolia, Delaware, and Donald & Melissa Lauer of Lincoln, Delaware; sisters, Margie & Chip Rosan of Dover, Delaware, and Susan & John Hopple of Blackhawk, SD; grandchildren, Gage Fugerson, Mattie Owen, Jamie Owen, Nicholas Cross, Thomas Vaughn, Austin Vaughn, Alex Herberth, Johnathan Bruce JR, Cason Jones, Kaylynn Weaver and Zaylee Bruce; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 7, 2018, at 3 PM, from Clark Funeral Home. Committal service will be held on Monday, October 8, 2018, at 10 AM, from Georgia National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, October 6, 2018, from 4 PM until 8 PM.
