CORLEY
Susan M. Corley, age 53, of Dallas, passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2011. She was born on April 25, 1958 in Dallas, GA. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Moore, and mother, Ann Moore. Susan graduated Paulding County High School class of 1976. She also graduated West Georgia College with an Undergraduate degree in Education and a Master’s degree in Education. She was a special education teacher from 1981 till present with the Paulding County School System, and also taught at the First Baptist Church, Dallas Kindergarten and Preschool programs.
Surviving are her husband of 28 yrs, Danny Corley, Dallas, GA; her son, Todd Corley, Dallas, GA; and brother and sister-in-law, David and Dee Dee Walraven, Dallas, GA.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at 2:00pm from Narroway Baptist Church with Rev. Todd Tibbitts and Dr. Ken Ray officiating with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 20, 2011 from 4-8pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a children’s charity of your choice.
