With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Tami Nell Hunter, who departed this world on August 4, 2024, surrounded by those she loved. She was born on July 18, 1971 in Fort Riley, Kansas, the daughter of Dale J. Pupp and the late Lawana Nelle Marquard Pupp.
Tami proudly served her country in the United States Navy during the Gulf War. She dedicated twelve years to Wellstar Health Systems as a Charge Capture Specialist. She had a passion for all things Disney, a deep love for animals, and cherished the nostalgia of Strawberry Shortcake. Tami's favorite color was red, she adored Halloween, and was a loyal Georgia Bulldogs fan. She found joy in savoring cheese curds and a refreshing diet coke-not necessarily together-and she reveled in the tranquility of the beach.
Tami is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Michael Patrick Hunter; father, Dale J. Pupp; son, Travis Michael Hunter; daughter, Ashley-Savannah Nell Hunter; her beloved fur babies: Scarlett, Skye, Olivia, Caki, Maja and Wicket; numerous extended family and dear friends.
In accordance with her wishes, Tami was cremated.
