Terrie Thomas

We regret to announce the passing of Terrie L. Thomas on September 14, 2024, in Acworth, GA. She was born on April 27, 1956, in Atlanta, GA. A beloved homemaker, Terrie dedicated her life to her family, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever be treasured. Terrie was of the Baptist Faith and a member of Macland Baptist Church in Powder Springs. She enjoyed spending her leisure time doing beach trips, being on the lake, shopping, as well as cooking and baking for her family. Terrie enjoyed many things in life but her family, and time spent with them, is what she cherished the most.

She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Garry Thomas, her children Traci Williams, and Jeremy Thomas (Cynthia); her sister Martha Griffin, and her adoring grandchildren Hannah Williams, Thomas Williams, Griffin Thomas, and Lydia Thomas. Terrie was preceded in death by her parents Jack and Essie Griffin, sisters Peggy Morris, Jackie Newborn, and Becky Purvis; son in law Greg Williams.

The funeral service for Terrie L. Thomas will be held at the Sam Clark Chapel on Friday, September 20, 2024, at 12:00 pm. Visitation for friends and family will take place at the Clark Funeral Home on Thursday, September 19, 2024, from 4pm-8pm and on Friday, September 20, at 11:00 am. Terrie will be laid to rest at Mozley Memorial Gardens in Lithia Springs. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her, and she will be dearly missed by her family and friends. May she rest in peace.
