Terry Staples

Terry Y. Staples, age 67, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Friday, February 12, 2016. He was born on September 4, 1948, in Rockmart, GA, to the late Jim & Minnie Staples, and was preceded in death by his sisters, Willie May Watson, Corine Lester, and Mary Frances Staples, and aunt, Mary Ann Harris. Mr. Staples was a United States Air Force Veteran, worked for the City of Marietta for over 20 years, and was a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Theresa Staples of Dallas, GA; son, Antonio “Tony” Huiel of Dallas, GA; sisters, Leona Glanton of Pittsburg, Elouise McClarity of Rockmart, GA, Florine Lee Wright of Hiram, GA, Pat & Roger Rachel of Yorkville, GA, and Mickra Staples of Dallas, GA; uncles, William & Stella Darden of Rockmart, GA, and John Oscar Darden of Rockmart, GA; grandchildren, Latoya “Sharday” Hart of Douglasville, GA, Tyler Huiel of Woodstock, GA, and Tyra Huiel of Woodstock, GA; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2016, at 2 PM, from Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, with Reverend Johnny McBurrows officiating. Interment will follow in Peaceful Meadows Memorial Cemetery.
