Thelma Cole, age 95, of Dallas, passed away on Friday, September 30, 2011. She was born on December 1, 1915, in Sand Mountain, AL, to the late John and Sovilla Camp, and was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Cole; son, Ned Cole; brother, Lamar Camp; and infant great grandson. Mrs. Cole was a member of Pumpkinvine Baptist Church and worked as a seamstress for 19 years.
Survivors, include sons and daughter-in-law, Ray & Wanda Cole of Dallas, and Wayne Cole of Dallas; daughter, Betty Ann Fuller of Dallas; sister-in-laws, Nancy Butler of Dallas, and Cora & Tom Williams of Dallas; brother-in-law, Thomas Cole of Dallas; 14 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 3, 2011, at 11 a.m., from Pumpkinvine Baptist Church, with Reverend Jimmy Cole officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Mitchell Cole, Jeffery Cole, John Cole, Matt Cole, Craig Cole, and Terry Fuller will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, October 2, 2011, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m.
