Thomas Holmes Dial, Sr., age 76, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Monday, June 2, 2008. Mr. Dial was born January 16, 1932, in Boyd, AL, the son of the late, Robert James Dial and the late, Daisy Barfield Dial. Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Vivian Lindsay Dial, and daughter, LaDonna Bryson. Mr. Dial was a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a mechanic and a member of York Baptist Church in York, AL.
Survivers include his sons & daughters-in-law, Thomas H. Dial, Jr. & wife Rhonda of Marietta, and David A. Dial & wife Pennie of Dallas; daughter & son-in-law, Vicky Goss & husband Eric of Acworth; sister, Eloise Brittan of Birmingham; six grandchildren; and two great-grand-children.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2008, at 2:00pm, from Clark Funeral Home, with Reverend Wayne Landmon and Reverend Tim Landmon officiating. Interment will follow in Melrose Hills Memorial Park. Tracy Johnson, Jacob Dial, Thomas Dial, III, Cody Johnson, Jason Brendel, and Tony Trevino will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.
