Thomas Drew

Thomas Allen Drew, 70, of Austell, Georgia, peacefully passed away on October 14, 2023, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on July 25, 1953, in Concord, New Hampshire, Tom lived a life full of love, laughter, and unwavering compassion.

Tom was a devoted husband, married to his beloved wife Kathy Drew for an incredible 36 years. Together, they built a life centered around compassion and selflessness. Tom was known for his kindness and generosity, always willing to lend a helping hand without hesitation. His big heart touched the lives of many, and his acts of kindness will never be forgotten.

As a truck driver in the transportation industry, Tom embraced a simple and fulfilling life. He worked for Ryder Logistics, where he made countless friends with his warm demeanor and jovial personality. Tom's colleagues admired his work ethic and appreciated his willingness to go above and beyond for the job.

Tom is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Cora Drew, brother; Norman Drew and a sister; Karen Foster.

When not on the road, Tom enjoyed spending quality time with his family. He cherished every moment shared with his two sons, Gregory Scott Dean and Zachary Allen Drew. His pride and joy were his three grandchildren, Payton Dean, Brody Dean, and Loki White. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Tom's playful spirit and love for jokes always brought joy and laughter to their lives.

Tom's genuine character and zest for life made him a beloved figure in his community. He will be fondly remembered for his infectious smile, sincere nature, and unwavering dedication to family and friends.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 from 3:00 PM-5:00 PM. A funeral service will immediately follow the visitation from the Clark Funeral Home Chapel.

Tom's passing leaves a void in the lives of those who knew and loved him, but his impact will forever remain in our hearts. May he rest in eternal peace.
