Thomas "Tom" Argo Jr.

Thomas “Tom” Argo Jr. age 75, of Hiram, GA passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2020. He was born on October 18, 1944 in Atlanta, GA, to his late parents; Thomas Argo Sr. and Effie Mozelle Argo. Tom has worked for Lockheed as a structural engineer for over 40 years and was a member of Clarkdale First Baptist Church. Mr. Argo was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and a friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Argo is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn Argo of Hiram, GA, children, Stacey (Chris) Newbern of Cedar Bluff, AL, Wendy Hollifield of Hiram, GA, Cathy (Deidra) Ratchford of Connecticut, Kimberly (Paul) King of Kentucky, brother, Ronald “Ronny” Argo of Marietta, GA, sister, Debra Lynn Beert of Marietta, GA, 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service for Mr. Argo will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 from the chapel of Clark Funeral Home at 3:00 PM with Pastor Douglas Davis officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 from 12:30 PM until the service begins at 3:00 PM. In accordance to the families wishes, Mr. Argo will be cremated after the service. The family would like to extend their love and appreciation to everyone who will not be able to attend the service or visitation in person due to the states Covid-19 restrictions. (No more than 50 people inside the funeral home at one time) If attending the visitation or funeral service, the staff of Clark Funeral Home recommends that a face mask be worn to help prevent the spreading any possible illnesses and to help keep our visitors, friends and the family members of Mr. Argo safe.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully asks that donations be made to Clarkdale First Baptist Church in loving memory of Mr. Argo.
