It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tommie Proctor, Jr., who left us on September 10, 2024. Born on July 3, 1940, in Dallas, GA, Tommie was a hardworking business owner in the welding industry, owning and operating LTS Welding, Inc.
Tommie was preceded in death by his wife, Dot Proctor; parents, Tommie & Jewel Proctor; and a son, Steve Proctor.
He leaves behind his loving sons, Lee Proctor and wife Karen, Todd Proctor and wife Nikki; as well as grandchildren, Amanda, Scott, Stephanie, Tyler, and Casey. Also surviving are several great-grandchildren who brought joy to his life.
As a dedicated member of the community, Tommie forged lasting relationships through his work and generosity. He also influenced numerous young people through youth sports here in Paulding County as a coach for 30 plus years. Tommie was a Georgia Tech fan and a classic car enthusiast.
A Funeral Service in honor of Tommie's life will be held at the Sam Clark Chapel on September 12, 2024, at 4:00 pm, with Visitation starting at 2:00 pm at Clark Funeral Home. It is in these moments of grief that we come together to remember a cherished father, grandfather, and friend. May his spirit live on in the memories we hold dear.
In lieu of customary remembrances if you wish, donations in memory of Tommie may be made to a charity of choice or to youth sports here in Paulding County.
