Tommy Ray Williams,78, of Dallas, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2024. He was born on April 18, 1946, a son of the late John Wilton Williams and Bessie Kate Cochran Williams in Douglasville, Georgia.
Tommy, a plumber by trade, was a real hands-on guy who took great pride in his work. He loved playing video games, particularly racing titles. Tommy enjoyed going to church, his latest church being, Sweetwater Baptist Church. He loved his church family and going to Bible study. Tommy loved watching old westerns and war films. Tommy is known for his independent spirit and his enjoyment of a good chat. He found great joy in spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, Tommy is preceded in death by two sisters, Martha and Jeannie; and a brother, Jerry Williams.
He is survived by two daughters, Jennifer (Joshua Willes) Williams, of Acworth, Georgia, and Melissa (Michael) O'Malley; a son, Jeffery Williams; three grandchildren, Jeffrey Williams Jr., Ashley Flynn, and Danielle Flynn; and two great-grandchildren, Braelyn Abadie, and EJ Williams; and many friends and relatives.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Tommy will be held at 12:00 PM, Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Clark Funeral Home and Chapel. Pastor Darryl Jones will be officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:30 AM until service time.
