Tona Rogers

Tona Bowen Rogers, age 69, of Temple, GA (Paulding County), passed away Friday, February 3, 2012. She was born August 6, 1942, in Albertville, AL, to the late, Luther Doyal Bowen and the late, Lizzie Ethel Bowen. She was retired from Lockheed-Martin after 30 years of service and she was a member of Concord Baptist Church. Tona was a member of the Red Haute Mama’s of Villa Rica, GA.
Survivors include her son & daughter-in-law, Pete & Kristina Rogers of Temple, GA; brothers & sisters-in-law, Billy & Ruby Bowen of Horton, AL, Jimmy & Betty Bowen of Albertville, AL, and Dennis & Diann Bowen of Horton, AL; sister, Shelva Jean McWhorter of Horton, AL; grandchildren, Michael Rogers of Temple, GA and Taylor Rogers of Temple, GA; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 7, 2012, at 11:00 AM, from Concord Baptist Church, with Reverend Don Rackley officiating.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Monday, February 6, 2012, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
