Topper Duffy, age 24, of Dallas, GA, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2013. The son of Thomas & Amy Duffy, III, he was born, September 7, 1988 in Chattanooga, TN. He was a musician that played all over Georgia with the Shockwaves and his most recent band Lucid. Topper was a songwriter, a leader and an entertainer who could play just about any instrument.
Survivors include his parents, Thomas Duffy, III & Amy Malone Duffy of Dallas, GA; siblings, Nell Duffy of Dallas, GA, Dixie Duffy of Dallas, GA and Tommy & Jennifer Duffy of Flintstone, GA; and a nephew, Connor Duffy.
Funeral services will be Friday, May 31, 2013, at 3:00 PM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Seab Baker officiating. Interment will follow in Peaceful Meadows Memorial Cemetery, with John Pilia, Nick Curtis, Jo Herrera, Josh Vance and Aaron Bing serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 30, 2013, at Clark Funeral Home, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
