Virginia Hilliard

Virginia Pruitt Hilliard, age 77, of Dallas, passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2012. She was born on March 15, 1935, in Rockmart, GA, to the late William & Lillie Pruitt. Mrs. Hilliard was a member of Mountain View Church of God, and she loved God and her family. She also enjoyed flowers and traveling.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Grover F. Hilliard of Dallas; son and daughter-in-law, Steve & Sarah Hilliard of Acworth; daughters, Joy & Richard Shaffer of Dallas, and Rebecca & Scott Halter of Dallas; five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 11, 2012, at 2 p.m., from Clark Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Kenny Jacobs and Reverend Jessie Parker officiating. Interment will follow in Paulding Memorial Gardens. Steve Hilliard, Richard Shaffer, Scott Halter, Shane Corley, Earl Hill and Donny Ruff will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, November 10, 2012, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.
