Vivian Diane Couch, age 57, of Dallas, GA, passed away on June 2, 2019 following a lengthy illness. She was born on March 4, 1962 in Marietta, GA. She was of Baptist Faith.
Vivian will be remembered by many, as she wrote a column for the Dallas New Era for years, then moved on to finish her journalism career with The Atlanta Journal Constitution.
A 1980 graduate of Paulding County High School, she marched in the band and served as drum major her senior year. She was voted “Most Talented” by her classmates . After graduation from Paulding County Highschool, She attended Reinhardt College and received her BA in Journalism from the University of West Georgia.
Vivian was loved by many, but most especially by her nephews, Cody and Tyler, to whom she was known as “Aunt Bea”. The boys were her heart and soul , along with her niece, Riley.
She is survived by her mother, Diane Couch, Sister, Frankie Couch Bryant; Nephews, Cody Bryant, Tyler Bryant and great niece, Riley Bryant. She is preceded in death by her father, George Couch.
In accordance to Mrs. Couch’s wishes, her body has been cremated and there are no services planned at this time.
