W. D. Reed

W. D. “Bill” Reed, age 77, of Tallapoosa, GA, passed away Monday, March 11, 2013. The son of the late, Cecil & Thelma Reed, he was born June 1, 1935, in Chickamauga, GA. Mr. Reed was a U. S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was a pastor for many years and a member of the Christ Freedom Church.
Survivors include his wife, Lillian H. Reed; children, Jackie & Allen Kuydendoll of Tallapoosa, GA, Rory & Niki Hay of Douglasville, GA, Randy & Connie Reed of Bethany, OK, Richie Reed of Grantville, GA, Bret C. Hay of Douglasville, GA and Ronnie Reed of Bethany, OK; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 14, 2013, at 3:00 PM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Pastor Ron Burgess and David Gresham officiating. Interment will follow in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 13, 2013, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
