Warner Hollis Rackley

Warner Hollis Rackley, age 96, of Dallas, GA, passed away Saturday, February 13, 2010. The son of the late, Warner Samuel Rackley & Nannie June Freeman Rackley, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Annie Pauline Hall Rackley. He was born in Paulding County, March 31, 1913. Mr. Rackley was a carpenter and a member of First Baptist of New Hope. He enjoyed gardening and building swings.
Survived by sons & daughters-in-law, Gene Rackley & his wife, Sandra of Powder Springs, GA, Russell Rackley & his wife, Virginia of Dallas, GA, and Don Rackley & his wife, Elaine of Dallas, GA; brother, Homer Rackley & his wife, Myra Rackley of Dallas, GA; sisters, Clay Lee Rakestraw of Hiram, GA, and Sarah Dokey & her husband, Melvin of Hiram, GA; 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at 3pm from Clark Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Durwood Perry, Rev. Don Rackley, and Rev. Donald Voyles officiating, with interment to follow in Paulding Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Monday, February 15, 2010 from 4-8 pm.
