Wayne Singley, age 72, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2016. He was born on May 6, 1943, in Atlanta, GA, to the late Mike Cleveland & Ruth Stephens Singley, and was preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Michael Singley. Mr. Singley retired from Globe Union Battery for 20 years as a line worker and was a member of New Covenant Fellowship Church.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Kathleen Singley of Dallas, GA; children, Michelle & Joe Pritchard of Dallas, GA, Laura & John Cole of Dallas, GA, and Joe & Christy Singley of Dallas, GA; grandchildren, Kayla Tidwell, Kara & Jared McCravy, Austin Cole, Joshua & Jamie Pritchard, Braxton Singley, Bryson Singley, Hayden Cole, Brayden Singley; and great-grandchild, Anniston McCravy.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 29, 2016, at 3 PM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Brother Joe Pritchard officiating. Interment will follow in Peaceful Meadows Memorial Cemetery. Joe Singley, Josh Pritchard, Austin Cole, Michael Gregory, Shane Singley, Donald Stephens and Johnathon Stephens will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, April 28, 2016, from 4 PM until 8 PM.
