Wesley Huffman, age 67, of Dallas, GA, passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2011. He was born in Blue Ridge, GA, October 13, 1943, and was preceded in death by his father, Jack Huffman and mother, Louise Phillips. Mr. Huffman was the former owner of American Corvette in Powder Springs, GA, was a member of Classic Glass Corvette Club and was a classic car and parts enthusiast. He was a devoted father and grandfather, and was well loved in the community.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Fowler Huffman; children, Chris & Scott Smith of Douglasville, GA, Toni & Brad Kittrell of Hiram, GA, Jack Huffman of Dallas, GA and Donna Goodwin of Dallas, GA; and ten grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home, Wednesday, June 8, 2011, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
Funeral services will be Thursday, June 9, 2011, at 3:00 PM, from Akins Funeral Home Chapel in Blue Ridge, GA, with Reverend Jimmy Cheatham officiating. Interment will follow in Sugar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Blue Ridge, GA. The family will receive friends at Akins Funeral Home on Thursday from 1:00 PM until the service time.
