It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of William "Bill" Culver, who passed away on August 2, 2024. Born on December 22, 1949 to Raymond and Louise Culver in Franklin, North Carolina, Bill led a rich and fulfilling life which touched the hearts of all who knew him. He was a cherished husband, esteemed army veteran, and dedicated father and grandfather.
Throughout his distinguished career, Bill dedicated thirty years of service to Lockheed Martin. Prior to that, his time in the United States Army during the Vietnam War exemplified his unwavering dedication to serving his country with honor and valor.
In his leisure time, Bill enjoyed the simple joys of life. He loved anything having to do with the rodeo, to include barrel racing and bull riding, racing cars, and fishing. He was a collector of classic americana memorabilia and rare coins. Above all, Bill treasured the time spent with his beloved wife, Cynthia, and his family and grandchildren. His family brought him immeasurable joy and happiness.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Louise Culver.
He is survived by his loving wife, Cynthia Culver; (Daughters) Lisa Woodliff and Lauren Fletcher; (Sons) Ray Culver and Stephen Fletcher; (Grandchildren) Carson Woodliff, Jordan Woodliff, Madison Fletcher and Mackenzie Fletcher; (Brother) Joe Culver; (Nieces) Patience Neal-Fulton and Leigh Cook; (Nephew) Chris Bilbro.
The family will receive friends and loved ones at Clark Funeral Home on Saturday, August 10, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Funeral Services for Mr. Culver will be held at Sam Clark Chapel on Saturday, August 10, 2024 beginning at 2:00 PM with Brother Thomas Campbell officiating. The service live stream may be viewed here: Live Stream
Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park.
