William "Bill" Holt

June 22, 1965 — August 7, 2021

William "Bill" Holt, age 56, passed away on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Anniston N.E. Regional Medical Center. He was born on June 22, 1965 at Ft. Carson in Colorado Springs, Co. Mr. Holt was employed as an auto mechanic for more than 10 years at Southeastern Freight Lines. He also served in the Army. William is preceded in death by his father, Carl Holt Jr; and nephew Jerry Holt. Bill enjoyed watching Ga. Football, trout fishing, and grilling out. His family has requested any guest to wear Georgia Bulldog colors or your favorite rock band shirt to his service.

He is survived by his life partner, Kimberly M. Wilson; mother, Judy Holt of Oklahoma; daughter, Brianna Holt of Tallapoosa; sons, William Holt of Kentucky, Benjamin Holt of Tallapoosa, and Ian Strickland of Heflin; brother, John Holt of Virginia; sisters, Mischa (Raymond) Greeno of Massachusetts, Suzan (Joe) Van Hook of Oklahoma; grandchildren, Jana Faye and Ezra; along with a host of nieces and nephews; beloved dogs, Dot and Sky.

Memorial services for Mr. Holt will be held at Clark Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 2:00 with Pastor Edward Lackey officiating and Chaplin William Lattany. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 13, 2021 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations for funeral expenses.

The family would like to extend their love and appreciation to everyone who may be unable to attend the service in person due to Covid-19 concerns.
