William Ward Jarrett, age 61, of Taylorsville, GA passed away on Saturday, September 18, 2010. He was born on November 9, 1948 in Atlanta to the late Euticus and Mildred Mae Jarrett. Mr. Jarrett retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 40 years of service as a City Carrier.
Surviving are his wife of 31 years, Phyllis Jarrett; a son and daughter-in-law, Eddie & Debbie Rexroat of Jasper, GA; a daughter and son-in-law, Sheryl & Steven Arnold of Taylorsville, GA; grandchildren, Zachary, Julie and Dusty Arnold, all of Taylorsville; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 20, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. from Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA with Clay Willis officiating. The interment will follow in Ephesus Baptist Church Cemetery in Winston, GA with Larry Hawkins, Raymond Gunnell, Richard Ewing, Judon Baldwin, Randy Cline and Danny Gowder serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Clark Funeral Home, Hiram, GA, is in charge of arrangements.
