William Harold “Bill” Keys, age 69, of Dallas, GA, passed away Friday, December 3, 2010. He was born September 4, 1941, in Marietta, GA, to the late, Jack W. Keys & the late, Agnes Robertson Keys. Mr. Keys was a U. S. Army veteran. He retired from CSX Transportation in 2002, as a railroad freight conductor. He ran the railroad from Tilford yard in Atlanta to the Chattanooga yard for many years. Mr. Keys enjoyed fishing and traveling.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Annette W. Keys; sons & daughters-in-law, Todd & Deneice Little of Dallas and Murray & Linda Williamson of Douglasville; daughter, Tracy Roberts of Hiram; sisters & brother-in-law, Betty & Jimmy Southerland of Dallas and Janell Keys of Cedartown; grandchildren, Courtney & T. J. Thomas of Dallas, Tifani Little of Dallas and Clint Williamson of Douglasville; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Sunday, December 5, 2010, at 2:00 PM, from
Clark Funeral Home, with Pastor Randy Sharp officiating. Interment will follow in Paulding Memorial Gardens, with Jamie Williamson, Kerry York, Mike Keys, David Keys, Kenny Jones and Donald Southerland serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, December 4, 2010, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
