It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Willie Howard Clark, who passed away on August 2, 2024, at the age of 85.
Willie lived a fulfilling life, dedicating over 30 years of service to Lockheed and forming cherished memories with his colleagues. He found solace in his faith as a valued member of Pine Ridge Baptist Church and took great joy in tending to his farm, riding his tractor, and meticulously cutting grass. His love for the outdoors extended to his favorite pastimes of camping and fishing on Lake Weiss, where he found peace and contentment.
Willie's most treasured moments were those spent surrounded by his beloved family, whom he adored with all his heart. His gentle spirit, unwavering dedication, and genuine kindness touched the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Willie is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd Clark and Bertha Clark; and his siblings, Bobby Clark, Alan Clark, James Clark, Harvey Clark, Edward Clark, Clyde Clark, and Louise Floyd.
He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Betty Mae Clark; their daughters, Donna and her husband, Jerry Cole, Debra and her husband, Dwight Waters, and Tina and her husband, Jeff Richardson; ten grandchildren, Eric Cole, Jeremy Cole, Melita Pritchard, Carlin Cole, Ryan Cole, Jason Waters, Aleisha Ivey, Anndae Barns, Wesley Richardson, Stone Richardson; fifteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends and loved ones at Clark Funeral Home on Monday, August 5, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
Funeral Services for Mr. Clark will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 beginning at 10:00 AM at Sam Clark Chapel with Pastor Eric Cole officiating.
Interment will follow at Paulding Memorial Gardens with his grandchildren serving as pallbearers.
