Willie Herman Rawlins, age 88, of Hiram, GA, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 10, 2020. He was born on November 17, 1931 to his late parents, Roy Rawlins and Eva Mae Smith. Mr. Rawlins served in the United States Navy, where he bravely fought for his country during the Cuban Missile Crisis and Vietnam War. He retired from the Navy in 1971 as a E – 7 Master Chief. In his free time, he greatly enjoyed woodworking. Mr. Rawlins was a faithful member of Antioch Baptist Church in Rockmart, GA. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who will be missed by his dear family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his 2 step sons; Barry Garner and Scott Garner and his granddaughter, Lindsey Rawlins.

Mr. Rawlins is survived by his beloved wife, Linda Rawlins of Hiram, GA, son, Christopher Rawlins and his wife, Lori of Rockmart, GA, daughter, Charmeon Fallon and her husband, John of Melbourne, FL, step daughter, Lori Anderson of Douglasville, GA, grandchildren; Rhyan Garner , Jack Fallon, David England, Megan Anderson, Matthew Anderson, great grandchildren; Aubree Rutherford, Landon Rutherford and many nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service for Mr. Rawlins will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2020 at Paulding Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Jeff Dabbs officiating at 11:30 AM. Serving as pallbearers will be: John Fallon, Chris Rawlins, Rhyan Garner, Jack Fallon, Matthew Anderson and Megan Anderson.
