Woodrow Ernest "Big Woody" Roberts Jr., age 66, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2007. He was born on June 6, 1940 to the late Woodrow Ernest Sr. and Naomi Roberts. He was retired from the United States Coast Guard with 20 years of service. After leaving the military he worked for Atlantic Steel until he retired after many years. He was preceded in death by his son, Woodrow E. Roberts III.
Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Cynthia Roberts of Dallas, Georgia; his daughters and sons-in-law, Selena K Roberts of Hiram, Georgia, Marsha and Scott Carroll of Dallas, Georgia and Maile and Randy Fulcher of Dallas, Georgia; 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 9, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. from Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, Georgia. The interment will follow in Georgia Memorial Park in Marietta, Georgia. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 8, 2007 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
