Yvonne Milling Edwards, age 71, of Hiram, GA, passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2011. She was born on January 20, 1940, in Guyana, South America, to the late Joseph and Baby Milling. Ms. Edwards was the second oldest of seven and was the matriarch of her family. She lived a life providing unconditional love, not only to her children, but everyone she encountered. Ms. Edwards was a Home Health Aide for 21 years.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Winston Ismond of Hiram, GA, Louie & Candace Ismond of Guyana, South America, and Wilton & Roxana Leach of Fallsburg, NY; daughters and sons-in-law, Diane & Winston Cadette of Phoenix, AZ, Amanda Leach & Haylene Rodriguez of Tobyhanna, PA., Karen & Lamerio Bradwell of Lithia Springs, GA, Michelle & Denzil Grant of Hiram, GA and Seymone & Joshua Johnson of Duluth, GA; brother Walter Milling of Guyana, South America; sisters, Corlette Hoenkirk of New Jersey, Joyce Sparman of California, Celene Laforty of Niagara Falls, Joan Milling of Ontario, Canada, and Jean Forsyth of New Jersey; twenty-three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday, February 5, 2011, at 11:00 AM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Pastor Nathaniel Bronner officiating. Interment will follow in Peaceful Meadows Memorial Cemetery, with Wilton Leach, Winston Ismond, Denzil Grant, Lamario Bradwell and Sheldon Edwards serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, February 5, 2011, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM.
