Zachary Phelps

Zachary Lorenzo Phelps, a beloved son, father, brother, and friend, passed away on July 8, 2024, at the age of 29. Zachary was born on September 21, 1994, in Austell, GA, to his loving parents Richard and Veronica Phelps.

Zachary made his career as an electrician, and he found joy in simple pleasures. He enjoyed anything outdoors, especially fishing, camping, and taking naps in a hammock. Sports was another of his passions, especially soccer and watching UGA Football. His greatest pleasure came from watching and spending time with his children, who brought him immeasurable happiness, and his love for them knew no bounds.

Zachary is survived by his loving parents, children Liam and Aerilyn; brother Alex, and many friends and family who will miss his presence deeply.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home, on Sunday, July 14, 2024, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM. A Memorial Service will follow from the Sam Clark Chapel at 3:00 PM with Reverend Mike Woods officiating.

Though he may be physically absent, Zachary's spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. In these moments of mourning and remembrance, let us come together to commemorate a life well-lived and a soul deeply cherished.
