Billie Walden

Billie H. Walden, age 85, of Powder Springs, GA, passed away on Sunday, November 01, 2009. He was born on March 28, 1924, in Powder Springs, and was preceded in death to his father, Homer Glen Walden, mother, Martha Elizabeth Fambrough, step-father, Marvin Hubert Fambrough, and granddaughter, Michelle Vescovo. Mr. Walden retired from Lockheed after 34 years and was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Survivors include loving wife of 65 years, Mary Gladys Walden of Powder Springs, sons and daughters-in-law, Jackie & Teresa Walden of Powder Springs, and Tim & Gail Walden of Powder Springs; sister, Martha Hunter of Hiram; grandchildren, Tessa Walden of Powder Springs, Billie “Bubba” Walden of Powder Springs, and Christine Walden of Powder Springs; great-grandchild, Cole Vescovo of Powder Springs.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2009, at 3 p.m., from Clark Funeral Home, with Reverend Tommy Paine officiating. Interment will follow in Powder Springs Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 3, 2009, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.
